Training Programmes

Our clients contract us to design, deliver and evaluate training that has an impact on people, processes and performance.  We aim to deliver practical learning events that are based on strong and traditional foundations but which are also creative, experiential and inspirational.  Our professional commitment and innovative approach was recognised by The Institute of Leadership and Management in 2005, when John was presented with the ILM UK Trainer of the Year Award.

The Workplace Skills Portfolio

Society can sometimes have unrealistic expectations on us, assuming that we can successfully get on and do things in life without any training or development e.g. being a good parent; making a speech; coaching a sports team; playing golf; home improvements etc.  It’s often no different with staff in the workplace.  They are expected to be able to train others, present ideas, communicate with ease and make decisions.
Our work with individuals and teams in many different organisations made it easier for us to recognise this.  On Track’s response has been to develop the Workplace Skills Portfolio.

The Workplace Skills portfolio equips individuals with the skill sets necessary for working effectively with colleagues to achieve success.  It provides staff with a common behavioural framework that promotes understanding, improves communication and increases productivity.  People feel empowered to act with confidence, putting their best foot forward and even getting their feet wet!

Modules within the Workplace Skills Portfolio include:

• Presentation Skills
• Instructional Techniques
• Assertiveness Skills
• Bullying and Harassment
• Appraisal Skills
• Service at Work
• Working Effectively with Time
• Interpersonal Skills
